The 2018 Patient Group Pavilion aims to strengthen the patients’ voices through shared learning and collaborative exchanges amongst patient support groups and other healthcare professionals.

48 presentations have been selected to compose the Pavilion's preliminary programme by the two-co-chairs: Mrs Ann Seyn, UICC Board Member and Past President Reach to Recovery International, South Africa and Mrs Amanda Pomery, Director, Support & Community Outreach, Prostate Cancer Foundation, Australia.

The presentations will feature examples of best-practices and effective collaborative approaches in various areas of cancer control that affect women, men and children with cancer, including their families and relatives.

The final programme schedule will be announced as of 19 February as per below:

Day 1: Organisational framework
Six sessions of 1h : three in the morning and three in the afternoon
One chair and three presenters for each session

Day 2: Navigating cancer care
Six sessions of 1h : three in the morning and three in the afternoon
One chair and three presenters for each session

Day 3: Patient voices
Four sessions of 1h: three in the morning and one in the afternoon
One chair and three presenters for each session
