Register now and secure your participation in the 2018 Congress. The registrations fees, along with the related terms & conditions, are available here below. Please read them carefully. 

Please note:

Abstract submissions, applications for Master Courses as well as registration for social events are made through the official Congress registration system accessible via the button 'Register Now' here below.

Registration Fees

  • Registration fees include food for all delegates onsite during the three Congress days
  • Registration fees are indicated in US dollars
  • An additional 6% Malaysian GST must be included in the total price
  • Registration fees are applicable if both registration and payment are received before the last day of each period mentioned here below (ie: 29 June 2018, 24:00 CET, for the first period)
  • Please note that no special offers or discounts can be combined

  • *UICC members from low and middle income countries - as per World Bank Classification
  • Invited speakers ‚Äď all confirmed speakers benefit from a complimentary registration until Friday 1 June 2018. After that date, the registration fees in force will apply
  • Accepted abstracts ‚Äď all abstract presenters should confirm their participation and register online by Friday 3 August 2018. After that date, their abstract will be automatically withdrawn
  • Groups - minimum of 10 delegates (not including accompanying persons) registered by a group leader. The group leader can buy badges in bulk and provide the individual names of delegates by Friday 17 August 2018 at the latest
  • Accompanying persons - benefit from a fee at 100$US + 6% Malaysian GST. They entitled to attend the Congress Welcome Reception, the Opening Ceremony and the¬†social evening 'Malaysia in a Nutshell' on 3 October. They can also book any institutional tour (involves extra cost).¬†

Travel Grants

UICC has a limited number of Travel Grants available for the 2018 World Cancer Congress. To be eligible for a travel grant, UICC will only consider applications that fit the following selection criteria:

  1. You are affiliated to a UICC member organisation
    • To check if your organisation is a member, please view the¬†map of members
    • If you would like to enquire about your organisation becoming a UICC member, please contact or complete the form
  2. Your organisation is registered in a low-and-middle income country as per World Bank Classification
  3. You will have an active participation in the Congress programme such as:
    • You have submitted a successful abstract and will come to present it at the Congress - call for abstracts open until 5 April¬†2018
    • You have been selected for a UICC Master Course (launched in March 2018)
    • You have submitted a Collaborative Initiative for one of the UICC member¬†regional meetings - call for Collaborative Initiatives open from 15 February to 8 June

The travel grant includes:

  • An economy return flight to Kuala Lumpur
  • 4 nights¬†accommodation
  • Full delegate registration ¬†¬†

Travel Grants will be selected and awarded by 1st June 2018.

Registration Terms & Conditions, including cancellation & refund policy

1. Access

A. Full delegate badge (not applicable to Accompanying persons category)

  • Access to all sessions including the satellite sessions
  • Access to the Global Village
  • Invitation to the Welcome Reception, Opening Ceremony and Closing Reception
  • Delegate material (including access to Congress Smart Phone application which includes the e-networking platform)
  • Invitation to apply for a UICC Master Course (registration upon selection from the course leader)
  • Opportunity to submit and present (if selected) an abstract at the 2018 World Cancer Congress
  • Invitation to the social event organised by the Local Host Committee

B. Accompanying person badge

  • Invitation to the Welcome Reception, Opening Ceremony and Closing Reception
  • Half Day City tour - options available
2.   Cancellation and refund policy

Any cancellation or change in your registration must be notified in writing by email to the 2018 WCC appointed delegate services handled by K.I.T. Group at

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after the Congress. Cancellations and refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Registration cancellations before Thursday 31 May 2018
  • Cancellations received before 31 May 2018: refund of fee minus a 25% administrative charge
  • Cancellations received after 31 May 2018 ‚Äď no refund
  • Name changes will be accepted until Friday 14 September 2018
  • Lost Badges: Name badges must be worn at all times. If a badge has been lost or forgotten and a new badge has to be reprinted, a new badge can be issued at the registration desk upon a deposit of US$ 100. If the original badge is returned at the WCC Registration desk within 24 hours the US$ 100 deposit will not be charged
  • Reprinting your badge onsite: in the event of a spelling mistake on the badge, and if a reprinting is required, a US$ 20 will be charged
