2024 Programme engagement opportunities

A participant speaking to the audience at the 2018 World Cancer Congress

The WCC programme is built around six themes covering the full cancer control spectrum and health and cancer control community contributions.

Hundreds of renowned experts and opinion leaders worldwide will share their expertise through innovative, thought-provoking and exciting sessions, plenaries, abstracts, and talks in person in Geneva and on the Congress online platform.

The Congress delegates will have the chance to learn and exchange on the challenges, strengths and opportunities they face in cancer control.

Engagement opportunities

“ The whole conference is full of inspiration and gives us the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge”.

– Hong Gwan SEO, President, National Cancer Centre Korea (NCCK)

The Congress programme is drawn from the contribution of the global cancer community. There are many ways to contribute to the WCC programme (see chart below). Our appointed Programme Committee oversees the whole process.

Whether you are an experienced oncologist, a dedicated cancer researcher, an inspirational caregiver, a committed volunteer representing a patient support group, an employee of a cancer society, a fundraiser or the General Director of a hospital, get involved, raise your voice, submit a proposal and support us in shaping a comprehensive and inspiring Congress Programme.
